Who can stay
Standard eligibility
Active duty, Guard and Reserve, and retirees, with their families. Veterans whose VA health card reads SERVICE CONNECTED, PURPLE HEART, or FORMER POW, and VA-approved caregivers of eligible veterans. Access for DoD civilians and guests is set by each installation.
This is DoD policy for military campgrounds (DoDI 1015.10 and DTM 19-012).
